Six Sigma dates back to the mid 1980s from Motorola. Lean originated from the Japanese manufacturing industry and has been promoted within Toyota. Its primary focus is the elimination of waste, speeding the process up, enables the flow and road blocks waste.

The combination of the two (LEAN Six Sigma) provides a powerful methodology for businesses and individuals particularly in the current economic.
