Six Sigma Back Belt Pre course work
The Knowledge Academy Six Sigma Black belt events are designed to maximise delegates’ potential to become leaders in the Lean Six Sigma training environment and lead improvement initiatives in the workplace.
Candidates must have passed the Lean Six Sigma green belt course offered by Knowledge Academy
Following confirmation of booking The Knowledge Academy will send the Pre-Course work to the delegate. This work consists of;
1) Pre read files on leadership styles
2) Profile advanced key tools for Lean Six Sigma
3) Performance management

Key tools for new ways of working in improvement teams
The pre-course work on a The Knowledge Academy course will require around 30 hours of study prior to the course start date. The Knowledge Academy’s Six Sigma event training event is an intensive 10 day course that includes the Six Sigma Yellow, Green and Black belt examinations within the course. Upon booking, Joining Instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will also be emailed.
Six Sigma Black Belt Examination
A 100 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 70 out of 100. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate would be able to lead a programme of process improvement initiates guiding up to 6 green belt teams at any one time act as a subject matter expert on Six Sigma methodology and tools. Please note that success in the Masters examination is a green belt exam and evidence of at least 4 improvements carried out using the tools from the green belt
