MoR Training - The History
Management of Risk (MOR) is a guidance of risk which can be used across an organization. Within project and programme environments there will always be risks which need to be identified, analysed and managed. Other areas of an organization will also be exposed to risks as operational functions are carried out. M_O_R training provides guidance on how best to deal with this. This guide has been written by leading experts for the Office of Government Commerce-owners of the PRINCE2 & MSP Methods. This event is designed to prepare delegates to manage risks in a controlled and structured way by examining the M_O_R guide. Examinations (controlled and marked by the APM Group) are available during the event for delegates who wish to achieve Foundation and practitioner levels. M_O_R or (Management of Risk) sets out a framework for taking informed decisions about risk at a project, programme and strategic level to ensure that key risks are identified assessed and that action is taken to address them.
The MOR training is a core component for most businesses and organizations. This methodology aims to support organizations in key decision making processes by helping those involved understanding risks and the impact of such risks, while using a risk process consisting of a series of well defined steps. This method is implemented in order to identify potential risks, assess the impact of potential risks and ways in which current risks can be handled. M_O_R training from the knowledge academy focuses on providing delegates with an overview of corporate governance, the management of risk, the management of risk process lifecycle and other essential tools and techniques. With any programme, businesses experience risk. MOR training addresses this. MOR instructs delegates ways to view and consider risk from strategic, programme, project and operational perspectives.
