Six Sigma Yellow Belt Pre course work
The Knowledge Academy Lean Six Sigma yellow belt events are designed to maximise delegates’ potential in the Six Sigma training environment.
Following confirmation of booking The Knowledge Academy will send the Pre-Course work to the delegate. This work consists of:
1) Introduction into Six Sigma
2) Key methodologies for Six Sigma
3) Profile of Key tools used in Six Sigma
Recommend that candidates purchase and read “the machine that changed the world” by Wolmack and Jones, and the Goal by Goldartt and Fox
The pre-course work on a The Knowledge Academy course will require around 15 hours of study prior to the course start date. The Knowledge Academy’s Lean Six Sigma event training event is an intensive 2 day course that includes the Six Sigma Yellow Belt examination within the course. Upon booking, Joining Instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will also be emailed.
Six Sigma Yellow Belt Examination
A 60 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 40 out of 60. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate fully understands the principles of Six Sigma and the key tools that could be applied and would be able to act as an informed member of any improvement programme designed around Six Sigma process optimisation.
Course Structure
During The Knowledge Academy’s Six Sigma yellow belt 2 day course, delegates will spend time preparing for the Lean Six sigma yellow Belt examination taken on the final day of the course. Delegates are also welcome to stay on for another 3 days (for an additional charge) and continue to the Six Sigma Green Belt if they are looking to go on and manage six sigma projects.
