Who is it for?
This course is aimed at people who wish to develop their confidence and behaviour to enable them to accept criticism and control their reactions. Staff of all levels can attend this course or part of a continuous development programme.
What is it about?
Being assertive is about confidence and having a high self esteem. Assertive people can express their own views with confidence but also appreciating the views of others. They feel confident saying “no” to people and can provide alternatives to resolve discrepancies. Delegates will have the opportunity to take part in practical exercises aimed at testing a number of different conflict techniques
